July 15, 2013 -- San Carlos, Calif. -- Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that Network World has recognized Check Point for having the number one Unified Threat Management (UTM) product for small businesses, of the products tested. The Network World Clear Choice Test Shootout found that the Check Point 640 appliance, from the company's line of 600 appliances, outperformed seven other comparable products in both capabilities and price.

The Network World report commended the Check Point 640 appliance for its exceptional technical features, distinguishing the 640 appliance from the other products as the easiest to set up and manage, with advanced, enterprise-grade security options. The report also noted the Check Point 640 appliance as having the lowest cost amongst the review products, assuring customers the best performance at the lowest price point.
