(Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that it has earned NSS Labs’ “Recommended” rating in the latest intrusion prevention system (IPS) group test. The Check Point IPS Software Blade excelled in the industry’s most comprehensive test to date, achieving a high score of 98.3 percent in overall protection with superior server and client protection and strong management capabilities.

“Resistance to known evasion techniques was perfect, achieving 100 percent across the board in all related tests. Not only were the fragmented and obfuscated attacks blocked successfully, but all of them were also decoded accurately,” said Bob Walder, NSS Labs Director of Research.
