Redwood City, CA — Mon, 27 Jun 2011 Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced the company’s founder, chairman and CEO, Gil Shwed, along with Tal Payne, the chief financial officer, and the company’s board of directors will participate in The NASDAQ Opening Bell ceremony at The NASDAQ Stock Market on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. The ceremony commemorates Check Point’s continued growth and product innovation since the company celebrated its initial public offering 15 years ago, and will take place at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time at The NASDAQ MarketSite Studio in Times Square, New York City.
