Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that udn Shopping, the online retail portal run by the United Daily News Group of Taiwan, has deployed Check Point’s UTM-1 solution to secure all online transactions and customer information, as well as to simplify security management across all of its e-commerce operations.

udn Shopping is an integrated online shopping portal that caters to a growing number of consumers from China and Taiwan. As an online retailer, udn required a solution that could ensure all online transactions and customers’ credit card information remains secure, and decided to turn to Check Point’s UTM-1 3076 for of a full array of security protection such as firewall, IPS, SSL  VPN, antivirus, anti-malware, URL filtering and web security in a single solution. In addition, udn Shopping has successfully passed ISO 27001 Information Security Management System certification, validating the company’s commitment to high standards of security.
